This trophy recognises the substantial efforts from the volunteers that help pull the strings from behind the scenes. Without our volunteers, there would be no club.

This is the newest award as part of our annual awards night.

Name-saken by UQJC life member Kevin Murphy, this trophy celebrates the depth of veteran/masters judoka that we have at the club. These people are often the 'forgotten ones', but at UQJC, we celebrate this cohort's achievements every year. 

Name-saken by UQ life member Zel Goldman, the recipient of this award demonstrates the key philosophies of the spirit of Judo and the attributes of judoka that acknowledge the spiritual journey and growth in their time spend on the mat.

Name-saken by life member Phillip Brain, this trophy recognises the growth shown in skill and appreciation of the study of Judo over the year. This award is awarded to members who embody the concept of 'kaizen'.
